Just like that, the IFL’s lucky number 13th season is underway, and the world is right again.

Duncan posts the lowest score in the league, maintaining his brand; your reigning champ, 2-time, Commish’ cruises to an easy 1-0 start, beginning his journey to win back-to-back titles; and Ewoldt begins his signature campaign whereby he starts off 5-0 and finishes the season 6-8. Yeah, everything is back to normal.

Joe’s Brady liked it that way, power-ranked #1, lives up to its preseason hype, posterizing Jord 138-108, led by 102 points between Caleb Williams, Gibbs and Flowers. Jord, who had a respectable 10-7 all-play record this week, just doesn’t have the juice he once he did, and I’m afraid the game may have past him by.

Clay, our rookie coach, thought he had a cakewalk to victory against the real mailman Nelson Monday Night, but Kenneth Walker exploded for 37 points, and Clay ended up losing by 21. Welcome to the big leagues, Clay. 100 points ain’t gonna cut it around these parts, and pretending to be a mailman I believe is a federal crime that sends you straight to Guantanamo…?

Anyway, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that Drew lost this week, and the fact that if you don’t count Josh Allen his team only scored 60 points, and the fact that if he wasn’t so hot he would literally have zero worth. Yep! Everything is right in the world.

X-IA looks to get things back on track in 2026, following their last place divisional finish last year.

Jord kicks things off 3 for 4, as all pickers whiff on the Monday Night Question!
