Despite Drake Maye’s QB2 rank last year, and him carrying me to my 2nd IFL Superbowl victory, a feat Drew could only dream of, Drew’s been running his mouth about Drake Maye for the better part of a year now. As you can imagine, May putting up 24 points on Drew Sunday was pretty cathartic. But sweeter than that? How about doubling Drew’s score? His pathetic AI slop team mustered just 67 points this week, having just two players surpass 10 points, while my sleeper build Oarling Haaland’s Boat Club put together their best performance of the season, 136 points, with all 8 players going for 10+. Ahhhhh, sweet sweet karma, Drew. I won’t forget this win for the rest of my life. And to add insult to injury, Drew’s hair brained trade with Daddy, where he thought it was a good idea to get rid of white savior Josh Allen, went to crap immediately, as his end of the deal, Saquon Barkley, got hurt immediately in the Rams game, and will likely miss week 5. Talk about a real IDIOT.

All right, with that out of the way, let’s get to our Game of the Week. Joe and Jesse’s matchup didn’t end up being close, really, but not in the way most expected. Jesse got huge production from Nico Collins and Kamara, and despite 25 points from Zay Flowers for Joe, Kenyon Sadiq and Jaylen Wright combined for just 4.6 points, and Jesse ran away with it, 121-97. Jesse climbs to 3-1, and Joe falls to 2-2.

The biggest upset this week came curtesy of Nelson, whose league best 144 points (highest by any team this season), knocked the headphones off the Doc and his On-Call Killers, who were good for 114. Nelson had 6 players score 15+, including 32 from Kenneth Walker, who is currently RB2 behind only Gibbs. Despite his low power ranking (14th), Nelson currently fields the 3rd highest scoring team on the season, and owns the 2nd best all-play record of 52-16. He moves up to 3-1, as Jack falls there, breaking his perfect start to the season.

Elsewhere, Daddy’s 3-0 team would put up much less of a fight than Jack, as his newly minted Josh Allen would be the lone bright spot in his match against Scallon, putting up 17 points. His other 7 players combined for just 43, and the Rehm Team’s 60.31 points are the lowest by any team this season. Not that the Pineview Knights needed to do much, but they nearly doubled Daddy’s output, scoring 119.82, with a 35-bomb from Kyren Williams this week. Scallon climbs up into the volley of 2-2 teams, as Daddy falls to 3-1.

There’s a lot more we could discuss this week: Hunt, Austin and Jord all starting off 0-4, TC looking like a freight train, Clay winning three in a row as our new #1, but alas, duty calls. Until next time!

X-IA takes command once again, but the race remains tight.

TC and Jesse both go 3 for 4 this week, as the Commish’ stumbles, and TC’s within 1.
